I think that maybe the reason why I don't have a girlfriend is 'cuz girls hate men. :-) here's a song for all you ladies out there ... maybe it'll change your mind. you hate men, is what you say and i understand how you feel that way all girls dream of a fairy tale but what you got's like a used car sales- man trying to conceal what's wrong. behind a smile and a song and i'm not saying that boys are not like that but i think you should know that some of us will grow because... all princes start as frogs, all gentlemen as dogs just wait till it's plain to see what we're growing up to be cause some frogs will still be frogs, some dogs will still be dogs but some boys can become men just don't kiss us 'til then *song 4 trica (princes and frogs) by max hsu -bj

I so lethargic today ... I haven't done anything. Well, I slept, got a haircut, showered, and cleaned the house ... but I haven't done anything academic ... booooo. Is that how it is? You hate me, don't you? Is that why you haven't been responding to my e-mails? :-) (If you think this applies to you it's 'cuz you have a GUILTY, GUILTY conscience! :-D ) -bj
Well, my grandma asked me if I have a girlfriend yet ... AGAIN. It was funny because as soon as I enter the door: "Bryan! I haven't seen you for a long time! How's school? Do you have girlfriend yet?" Why does everyone ask me that? Should I be actively seeking one? Sheesh ... :-) Where's the nearest monestary? -bj

I'm learning to appreciate my church more and more. Today we had a message on cross-generational outreach. I've always taken for granted the fact that BACBC was multi-generational. Thinking back, I've been really blessed that our church tried to reach to multiple generations. I can remember back to my days in primary church where the teachers would put Bible characters on little felt boards. I gained much of my Bible knowledge from primary church. I remember elementary sunday school where we'd memorize Bible verses and they'd hand out big prizes at the end, like a Nike backpack or a basketball. I remember Sunday school field trips where we'd go places cool like paint-balling, but learn a lot about God, too. And now, as I'm in college, we're trying to start up a ministry geared for college/young-career aged people. I've come to appreciate our church, and the various older folks that helped mold and shape me when I was younger. All of my parents' church friends and my old Sunday School teachers helped play a part in shaping me into who I've come to be. I've come to really appreciate the conversations I have with the people at church. They seem to take a genuine interest in my life because they've known me practically all of my life. People like Auntie Judy, or Mrs. Tom, or Alan Fong ... they all seem to really care about me. It's nice ... it's also nice seeing all the younguns grow and mature. For so long I've only seen what's wrong with my church and how it could be so much better. I've never really thought about how blessed I am to have BACBC, a place where I can serve and a place where I am cared for (and about). -bj
