"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (I Cor 2:9) This verse reminded me of the verse in Isaiah (to paraphrase) "My thoughts are not your thoughts and neither are My ways your ways. For as high as the heavens are above the earth so are My ways far above your ways and my thoughts far above your thoughts." This just reminds me that I may not understand God's plan for me ... in fact, I don't understand it at all. I sometimes wonder why God has placed me here at Berkeley and in my current situation. But you know, God has a plan for me. Although I may not be able to comprehend it now, I know that God has great and mighty things in store for me. -bj

i've learned that i'm not as physically and emotionally strong as i thought ... college sure has taught me a lot about myself ... i've learned that i don't handle stress as well as i thought i could ... i've also learned that i need sleep more than i think i do ... booo. well, life is hard, but God is good. Just gotta rely on Him. -bj

Just when you think that life is getting a little better ... it gets worse. Please pray for me ... just found out that I don't have a group for my cs project ... gotta be a maverick on this one ... hmmm ... i can do the work of four people, don't you think? WOW ... i don't feel so well ... AGAIN ... booo ... Anyway, yeah. Physics is not a very fun class ... I'm always thinking, "Maybe I'll get better at it" or "Maybe one day we will discover Physics is totally irrelevant," but NO. Physics is still relevant and still hard as DC dinner rolls. I think God is telling me (and my roomies) to study more ... first stephen pops our football, so we can't go out to play football every night. Then Michael's only ping-pong ball falls apart ... hmmmmmmmm ... i hope our computer doesn't blow up next. well, that would get me to study at least ... maybe that'd be a good thing.
